Next Umpires Meeting 

The next meeting will be held on Thursday 8 January, 2009 at 7:30 pm. The venue is Mornington Community Information Centre, 320 Main Street, Mornington. For insurance purposes, we need your address, telephone number(s) and date of birth. Please ensure that our Secretary, Dave Bewley has all of this information as soon as possible. Dave can be contacted on 0418 542 288 or at MPUA_sec@umpire.cricketvictoria.com.au. 

In addition, would all those who are Accredited, please give the Director of Umpiring your Accreditation number and expiry date for the database.

Do you want to become an umpire?

Any person interested in becoming an umpire in the MPCA should contact the Director of Umpiring, Graeme Robinson on 5975 5542 or 0418 534 735. Training sessions will be arranged for anyone who has not previously umpired. Any members who are not accredited, should seriously consider taking this step. The course material costs $70 from Cricket Victoria. This is fully refundable from the MPCA on completion. Graeme and other Senior umpires will lead workshop sessions to assist in the Accreditation Process. At least four members have expressed an intention to take this step and we would hope that any members without accreditation will consider it. Contact Graeme for an order form for the course material.
